In Texas, IPEN or In-Person Electronic Notarization, is a type of appointment where a notary public and document signer meet in person and notarize all documents via electronic devices. The signer will identify themselves in person and the document will be signed electronically and the notary public will use an electronic seal to complete the notarization.
